Angela 1st April 2016

Rest in peace my lovely Mama Milla, you mothered us all through college and were there for us through our various crises; married a lovely man; raised a wonderful son and two amazing daughters...all of whom you were so, so proud (and rightly so); and took such pleasure in being a 'mischievous' Oomi to two beautiful grandchildren; you were a 'home-from-home' mother to so many residential school children; a fabulous art teacher and professional artist in your own right; you touched so many lives and were such a calm, generous, gentle and loving inspiration to everyone! My abiding memory will be of you 'dancing' to Abba's Dancing Queen in your wheelchair less than 4 weeks ago, being pushed by your sister and followed round by your brother...you certainly gave the Big C a good run for it's money (outlasting the predictions by 18 months or so)!!! I feel honoured to be counted as one of your friends and mourn your passing with a heavy heart today, but I'm so glad that you're not in pain anymore. ( Reunited with your mum and dad, I suspect that you will be showing the angels how to make blue lilies now!?!😉) God bless you, love!!! ❤️
